The Philanthropists explores the people behind philanthropy — the values, relationships, and defining moments that shape how and why people give. Your support helps us bring these conversations to more listeners with the depth and independence they deserve.

This work matters, especially now. Philanthropy is under intense public scrutiny.  Philanthropy keeps clinics open, keeps families together, advances policy, and keeps opportunity within reach for the communities that need it most. This is exactly when storytelling matters most. When people hear philanthropists explain, in plain language, why they give and what that giving has made possible, it builds understanding and trust that statistics alone never could. This work also helps philanthropy get better at telling its own story: who the sector is, the work it supports, and why that work matters to the communities it touches.
